Thank you for your help
The Badger Mountian / Brown Canyon Fire response was one of the largest for this chapter in the recent history. With the help of 25 volunteers and many other community social service agencies we were able to feed over 400 fire fighters, open two shelters and provide an option of residents who were forced to evacuate. Thank you to the volunteers and donors who made this relief effort possible.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the American Red Cross is to improve the quality of human life; to enhance self-reliance and concern for others; and to help people avoid, prepare for, and cope with emergencies. We do this through services that are governed by volunteers and are consistent with our congressional charter and the principles of the International Red Cross.
WELCOME
It probably does this year an injustice to only say that it's been one of the most challenging years in the history of our chapter. . . but we're still here, and in fact more unified than ever, ready to respond wherever and whenever we're needed.
Our motto is "Together, we can save a life" not only to convey our mission, but also to demonstrate the sense of cohesion that's vital to our success and commitment to the people we serve every hour, every day of every year.
But we can't do any of it without the help of people like you. To you who donated your precious time, money and blood, we thank you and hope that you continue to support us. Your support makes a difference in someone's life, today and tomorrow.
While here, you may register for CPR, First Aid, HIV/Aids & Bloodborne Pathogen classes by going to our class schedule page. Tickets for upcoming events and an opportunity to financially assist disaster relief efforts in our area and nation wide can be found on the Donations/Tickets page.
